- Dean of the Law School Emily Spieler and Associate Dean for Experiential Education Luke Bierman both make appearances in this Financial Times profile of NUSL. Also mentioned? 3L Kate Richardson (who has completed a co-op in Tanzania with the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda)
- Professor Roger Abrams added an installation of his sports law column at the Huffington Post – this time, he tackles the NBA lock-out (earlier this month he took on the Penn State scandal)
- NUSL got a nice shout-out from the American Bar Association for recently winning the the Beacon Award for Diversity from the Boston Bar Association; the award “recognizes exceptional leadership in creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession that has had a significant impact in Massachusetts and the Greater Boston area”
- Nancy Cremins, NUSL alumna, employment lawyer, and president of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, was recently named a Boston Pipeline Fellow
- NUSL alumna Jane Morrison ’94 is the new city prosecutor in Sandy Springs, Georgia; Ms. Morrison previously helped found the Stonewall Bar Association, Georgia’s gay and lesbian bar association, in 1995
